Nachrichtenportal Daily Mail berichtet, dass zum ersten mal in der Geschichte in Großbritannien ein Fußballspiel vom Schiedsrichter-Transgender gerichtet werden wird.

So ein ungewöhnlicher Schiedsrichter heißt Lucy Clark und sie ist 46 Jahre alt. Vor ein paar Jahren war Lucy  ein durchschnittlicher Mann namens Nick.

Schon seit 3 Jahren bereitet sich Lucy für eine Geschlechtsumwandlung vor und nimmt zahlreiche Hormonpräparate. Die erste große Operation wird Anfang 2019 durchgeführt.

Laut Lucy macht sie sich keine Sorgen um die Reaktion der Fußballspieler auf einen so ungewöhnlichen Schiedsrichter. Sie hat ein bisschen Angst vor den Fans. Deshalb entschied Lucy zum Anfang nur die Spiele der Frauenteams zu richten. Nach einer vollständigen Operation plant sie jedoch auch  in männlichen Turnieren teilzunehmen. Bevor sie eine Frau wurde, arbeitete sie mit den semiprofessionellen Clubs und Junioren.

Interessant Tatsache, dass Lucy Clark noch offiziell verheiratet ist. Gemäß ihrer Frau, 54-Jähriger Avril, spielt der Wechsel des Geschlechts ihres Mannes für sie keine Rolle, weil sie verliebt und sehr glücklich zusammen sind. Das Ehepaar hat drei Kinder.

Lucy “Açıkçası biraz endişeliyim. Bir anda yüzlerce kişi hakkımda ileri geri tezahüratlar yapmaya başlarsa ne yapacağımı bilemiyorum. Kendimi her türlü yoruma hazırlıyorum” dedi. Bu yüzden, Lucy şimdilik kadın futbol maçlarını yönetmeyi tercih ediyor. Ancak cinsiyet değiştirme ameliyatı başarılı geçtikten sonra, Lucy erkeklerin çeşitli futbol turnuvalarında hakemlik yapamayı düşünüyor.

Lucy Clark, 54 yaşındaki Avril ile evli ve çiftin 3 çocuğu var. Eşi Avril, süreç boyunca Lucy’e elinden gelen her türlü desteğini verdiğini ve onun olduğu gibi sevdiğini söyledi.
